Rachel Braun explores how Jew­ish texts can be embroi­dered – lit­er­al­ly and fig­u­ra­tive­ly – in orig­i­nal needle­craft designs. Her can­vas­es hang in libraries and syn­a­gogues. Rachel is also a Torah chanter syn­a­gogue ser­vice leader and Jew­ish edu­ca­tor. On sab­bat­i­cal from math­e­mat­ics teach­ing she col­lect­ed her work and inter­pre­ta­tions in this vol­ume. Her tal­ents – artis­tic spir­i­tu­al and math­e­mat­i­cal – come togeth­er in this work.
