Mar­i­lyn Berg­er has been a jour­nal­ist for more than forty years cov­er­ing the Mid­dle East, arms con­trol, for­eign trade, the White House and events in coun­tries from Czecho­slo­va­kia to Chi­na. She worked for News­day, The Wash­ing­ton Post, NBC, ABC and pub­lic tele­vi­sion, where she was the mod­er­a­tor of ​“The Advo­cates,” a news anchor and con­duct­ed a five-part inter­view of Lil­lian Hell­man. She has appeared on Good Morn­ing Amer­i­ca, Ander­son Coop­er 360 as well as local tele­vi­sion pro­grams through­out the country
