After grad­u­at­ing magna cum laude from Bran­deis Uni­ver­si­ty in phi­los­o­phy, Julie Kabat returned to her heart’s call­ing of music. She toured inter­na­tion­al­ly as a com­pos­er, per­former, singer, and sto­ry­teller. She also worked for over forty years as a teach­ing artist in pub­lic schools, guid­ing young peo­ple to write poems, sto­ries, and plays that they set to music and performed.
