Joseph Bau (1920 – 2002), a Pol­ish-born Israeli painter and ani­ma­tor known as ​“Israel’s Walt Dis­ney,” was a renowned artist, philoso­pher, inven­tor, come­di­an, author, poet, and Holo­caust sur­vivor who helped save hun­dreds of lives.
