Emmanuel Kat­tan is the author of three nov­els in French. He stud­ied phi­los­o­phy in Oxford as a Rhodes Schol­ar. He is also an inter­na­tion­al diplo­mat who has worked for the Com­mon­wealth and the Unit­ed Nations. He is now Direc­tor of the British Coun­cil in New York.
