Debra Green is the author of Mahjong at Mara’s and the Con­ven­tion of Wives. She is a grad­u­ate of Colum­bia University’s Mail­man School of Pub­lic Health and a retired health­care admin­is­tra­tor and fundrais­er. When not writ­ing, read­ing, or trav­el­ing, Debra can be found gar­den­ing and enjoy­ing her grand­chil­dren. Indige­nous is her third novel.
