Author, actor, and film­mak­er Charles Den­nis was born in Toron­to and now lives in Los Ange­les. The Magik­er is his 12th nov­el. He played Sunad on Star Trek: The Next Gen­er­a­tion and was the voice of Rico in Dis­ney’s Home on the Range. His play, Going On, has been pro­duced in New York, Lon­don, and Los Angeles.
