Amy S.F. Lutz has writ­ten about severe autism for The Atlantic, Slate, Psy­chol­o­gy Today, and many oth­er plat­forms. Her first book, Each Day I Like It Bet­ter, was pub­lished in 2014. She is cur­rent­ly pur­su­ing a Ph.D. in the His­to­ry of Med­i­cine at Penn while try­ing to spend enough qual­i­ty time with her five chil­dren that they don’t for­get what she looks like.
