Alex Stern­berg is an inter­na­tion­al­ly rec­og­nized karate coach, com­mu­ni­ty orga­niz­er, Direc­tor of Pedi­atric Pul­monary Func­tion Lab, pro­fes­sor of phys­i­ol­o­gy and pub­lic health, and a lec­tur­er of Jew­ish his­to­ry, Zion­ism and anti-Semi­tism. Alex was rec­og­nized as a ​“Leg­end of the Mac­cabi­ah” for over 40 years of con­tri­bu­tion to the Mac­cabi­ah Games. He was induct­ed into the Hall of Fame of USA Karate for life­time achieve­ment in the growth of USA Karate.
